I booked an appointment for my dog, mostly because I’d been putting it off for a few days and finally had a free morning. The whole process was really easy, and when we got there, they were actually on time, which I always appreciate. Everyone was friendly, explained things in a way that made sense, and didn’t make me feel rushed. My dog was a little nervous at first, but that’s normal for him. Overall, it was a smooth visit and I’d definitely go back again

I had to wait a while for replies, and some of the updates were kind of confusing to me. They missed a few details too, so I ended up asking the same thing twice, which was not very great feeling.

I reached out sometime last week, or maybe the week before, and they got back to me faster than I expected. The replies were quick and they made the whole thing easy for me.

I found a few nice pet items here and was able to grab the basic stuff for my dog, so it wasn’t a bad experience. That said, the selection felt a little limited. Based on this visit, I’d say it’s probably fine if you just need simple pet supplies, but not the best spot if you’re looking for lots of options or something specific.

I stopped in and the store just didn’t feel very clean. The floors were dusty and there was this weird smell that made me not want to hang around long. I thought about mentioning it to someone, but I don’t really trust customer service to do much besides brush it off, so I just left.

That said, the choices felt a little more limited than I expected. If you’re just casually looking, you might find something you like, but if you have a specific type of pet in mind, I’d suggest checking availability first or keeping your options open. Overall, not bad, just kind of average for me.

I brought my dog in for a basic groom, and I can say with total confidence that I was not impressed. Like, there is absolutely no universe where I’d look at the final result and think it was done carefully.

The cut was uneven in a few places, the paws still looked kind of messy, and the nails felt rough, almost like they were clipped and then everyone just called it a day. My dog was clean, sure, but “well groomed” is definitely not the phrase I’d use.

For the price, I expected way better. Maybe they were having an off day, but I’m about 99.9% sure I won’t be booking grooming here again.

The help I got was okay in the end, but the replies were slow. I was already feeling mentally drained, so waiting around for responses made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be

I checked out Modern Pet Chicago mainly to see what breeds they had available, they had a better mix than a lot of other places I looked at. A few of the breeds I was interested in were listed, but some weren’t actually available at the time, which was a little disappointing.

The info was easy to understand, and they did get back to me with updates, but I’ll admit the waiting around got frustrating when I was trying to make a decision. Overall, still a decent experience, so I’d give them 4 stars.

and I was really happy with how everything went. My dog stayed here while I was out of town and came home clean, relaxed, and in a good mood. The staff was easy to talk to and kept me updated, which made me feel a lot better while I was away. I’d definitely use them again.

I’m happy with this so far. The toy feels sturdy, and my dog hasn’t managed to rip it apart yet, which feels like a win, right? Shipping was totally fine too, no issues there. Overall, the quality seems good to me and I’d probably buy it again

I adopted my new pup through Modern Pet Chicago, it was way easier than I expected, which is not always the case with places like this. The staff actually answered my questions, didn’t make me feel rushed, and explained the paperwork clearly instead of just shoving forms at me and hoping for the best. Everything was organized but still felt friendly, which I appreciated. My dog was clean, happy, and ready to go, so clearly they’re doing something right. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking to adopt.

Payment was really easy and everything went through without any trouble. I just wish there were a few more options to choose from.
